End of an inning (Thursday, December 23, 2004)
That's right. Last night was my last night of employment at AAA Nebraska. And I have to say, I'll miss the staff I worked with in Lincoln. Not only my fellow dispatchers, but also the Lincoln fleet drivers. However, I've been given a great opportunity to work at (i)Structure. So I can't dwell on the past too much.
Oh yea, don't forget to check back soon for details on how to get your very own free iPod!

Great Christmas gift! (Wednesday, December 22, 2004)
Yesterday I got my brand new, and completely free iPod. That's right, I said free. What, I suppose you want one now? Well keep coming back, soon I'll have information here as to how you can get your very own iPod. It's really easy, I mean, if I can do it, so can you! And that's about all I have for now.

Server craze! (Monday, December 13, 2004)
That's right, I'm thinking of running my own server again. This time, I will actually "serve" the public. In other words, I will actually offer hosting services. But I'll have to find a suitable machine to serve not only my stuff but other people's stuff as well. I'll keep you posted, and let you know when you'll be able to claim your stake in my server!

'Tis the season!
That's right, it's Christmas time again. Ugh. As if we didn't have enough bills to pay. But this season, give something a little different. How about the gift of stock?
That's right, stock. If you invest in the market, you can give some of your stocks away as a gift, and on top of that, you could write them off on your tax returns this season!
This is an especially great gift to give younger children, or grandchildren. Holding a good growth stock during their growing years can yield good results (although, one stock probably won't mean much).
And, if you don't currently invest in the market, that's no big deal. My brokerage of choice is ShareBuilder (see advertisement), and they offer gift certificates. Talk about a great way to give stock without having to own it! Just give the gift certificate, and let them choose where to park their money in the market (probably better suited for the older children in your family).
Well, that's about all I have for today. Check back later for more!

Job of a lifetime! (Thursday, December 09, 2004)
That's right folks, you are looking at (well at least reading the blog of) the newest employee of (i)Structure. I interviewed today. And I think I'll love the job. Basically, I would be building and installing server systems. Anyways, I will officially resign from AAA tomorrow. It was short, but good. I've always wanted to be in the IT field, and here's my chance! Wish me luck!
